An absolutely stunning card 3-phase
card effect by Doug Edwards!
A deck of cards is shown on both sides and shuffled. An audience member selects a card which is left in the middle of the deck. With absolutely no moves the magician claims he will cause their selected card to turn over in the deck then shoot out from the front of deck causing no injury or harm to any of those involved.
With just one quick riffle, one face-up card shoots part-way out from the deck. It is their selected card.
The deck is turned over and the selected card is seen to be red as is the rest of the deck. It's turned over again and as the selected card is pushed back into the deck the magician exclaims, "What you just witnessed was nothing more than an illusion! It didn't really happen; it was not real."
He then turns the deck face-up and runs through the entire deck. There are no duplicate cards. There is only one chosen card, also face-up, which is removed from the center of the deck. As he turns the chosen card over, its back is now blue.
The effect is very strong for both laypeople as well as magicians.

A Triple Whammy Effect!
You begin by laying a blue backed prediction card face down on the table.
Then you display a red backed deck back and front.
And with the help of a spectator, the magic begins...
You ask the spectator to give a number of their own choosing.
They now use that number to select a card.
The remainder of the deck is placed off to the side and the prediction is now turned over to reveal that,
it matches the spectator's card!
But it's not perfect match because the selection has a red back and the prediction is blue...
you respond, "No problem!" and with a snap of your fingers both cards now have blue backs!
The audience is certainly impressed, but you explain that the prediction you can understand,
where all the other cards went is another matter...
and with that you turn over the remainder of the deck to reveal all the faces are blank!

Show an ordinary corked test tube, inside visibly rests a small silver rod.
You cause the rod to bob & float in the inside vial!
Then the rod actually pushes the cork up out of the tube!
It hops out of the vial to the magician's hand and it proceeds to wiggle around.
Now it actually floats up into the air, hopping right around in space between the hands.
It bobs around, it flies from one hand to the other.
A ring can EASILY be passed over the rod while it is in mid-air!

You blow up a balloon heart (provided) and take a sharpie (not included) and draw some eyes on the balloon- claiming it is the fastest ever balloon sculpture, a goldfish! Nervous over the cool reception to your accomplishment, you grab a glass of water (not included- any glass will do). Next, you destroy your creation, for you only hoped to capture the "essence of goldfish," but failed- or did you? From the exploding balloon falls a live fish!

134.Australian aces Nick Trost
Knockout version of an Australian Monte Game! The performer displays three Aces of Diamonds and an Ace of Clubs, asking the
spectator to follow the black Ace. One red Ace is laid aside face down and the black Ace is put between the other two red
Aces. The spectator fails to follow the black Ace because when the three cards are shown, they’re ALL RED ACES and the black
Ace is on the table! The entire routine is repeated—but again the spectator is wrong! The third time the spectator guesses
the black Ace is on the table, but it's really a red one . . . and the other three cards are now ALL BLACK ACES!

135.4 Flush! L&L Nick Trost trick
A “Wild Card” effect with six cards! You show five blank-faced cards and one Four of Spades. The Four is brushed against
two of the blank cards and they change to Fours! This is repeated with the other blank cards and at the finish, all six cards
have changed to the Four of Spades—a Four Flush! No double-faced cards are used, yet spectators seem to see the face and
back of every card!

136.The Unknown Card - Nick Trost
You fan out six cards to show three face-up Fours and three face-down cards. The cards are turned over and re-fanned to show
three Tens. An “unknown” card is removed from your pocket and inserted into the fan. You now deal the Fours face down to a
spectator while you hold the Tens and the “unknown” card. Your cards are squared, turned end-over-end three times, and re-
fanned. The “unknown” card is pocketed. The Tens are now gone—faces and backs of blank-face cards are shown! The
spectator's cards are turned over and the Fours are gone!

137.Horsin' Around - Nick Trost trick
Three cards are shown, each with a part of a cute, topless pin-up girl—there's her head, her middle, and her bottom! The
head and middle are dealt face down on the table, and the bottom is inserted back out partway into your pocket. You now ask
someone where the middle is. They say, “On the table . . .” But you remove the card from your pocket and show it is now the
middle! The middle is placed between the two cards on the table. The big surprise comes when you now offer to reveal the
complete picture. The cards are turned up and—instead of the girl—there’s now a picture of a shabby horse . . . you've
just been Horsin' Around! A great bar and party gag. Good for a laugh every time. Really easy to do.

In effect, the performer shows four Aces. The Ace of Spades—the master Ace— is openly turned face down. Now, one by one,
after the packet is “twisted,” the other three Aces turn face down. When the cards are dealt face up, there are now five
cards—a Royal Flush!

Effect
The magician brings out a clear Plexiglass photo-block. Sealed inside the block is a photograph of a pocket watch. The photo-block is placed inside an opaque plastic cover by the magician and then set on the table.
The performer then has a spectator select any hour of the day, then announce that hour for all to hear. The choice is free and random (No force of any kind is used).
The clear photo-block is then removed from the cover. The audience is shown that the time on the pocket watch, the very time that the photo was taken, it is the exact time named by the spectator. The photo is shown all around. The spectators are asked to feel the surface and verify that it really is a photograph sealed inside. A photograph of a watch, set to their chosen time!
